Alumni
“Alumni shall be life-long members of the college, since St. John’s College is a community not limited by geographical location or fixed periods of time” (Polity, Article XIV, Section 1)
The college’s governing document, the Polity, states that those “…who have been awarded a degree by the college shall be called Alumni.” In addition, all who have completed at least one semester of undergraduate study or at least one segment of Graduate Institute study, but who are not currently enrolled, shall be called Alumni.
Our alumni base is a community of enthusiastic Johnnies who are passionate about returning to the seminar table and finding connection back to the life-changing time that was their St. John’s College experience. They share the common bond of having experienced the rigors and excitement of the distinctive Program and the splendid intensity of our unified community of learning.
St. John’s looks forward to strengthening the ties between you, your classmates, fellow alumni, and the college. As our alumni, you will always be a part of the college and here you can find our continued support for you.
